Baby Luke | Spring 2017 Newborn Session | NJ

I just hit my one-year anniversary in business (real business anyway, I’ve been taking photos since I was in middle school + my interest in cameras started in diapers apparently). And, professionally, this little guy here was my first newborn! Isn’t he adorable? I have two more booked within the next month + half and I hope to have more very soon. Even though newborn photography is stressful and really tests your patience, it is so worth it. I get to hold a fresh baby again (since God knows when and if I’ll ever have another), it’s quiet + peaceful, they actually listen (when they’re asleep anyway), and the edited images are so darling, it melts my heart. I feel like if the majority of people in the world were going to get any pictures done, it would be of their newborn baby, because this stage absolutely flies. And that’s coming from Delaney the mother, not Delaney the photographer. I frequently get asked if I have a studio, and unlike most photographers, my answer is no, and I don’t ever truly plan on having one. This comes from my die-hard love + lust for nature. Nature = dreamy, and that is my style. However, for these tiny little humans, I would buy one. And I would stuff it full of adorable props + backdrops. Just for them, because I love them so much. I can’t wait to share the next newborn session with you all!
